Thank you so much for your interest in the URJ Northeast Camp Institute. Our warm, caring and mature staff is eagerly awaiting your arrival for a summer of fun, adventure and growth. Our goal is to enable your child to become a part of our strong and vibrant community. Here at camp, children make lifelong friendships. Our camp is a place that campers return to summer after summer. They maintain relationships with our community through the year and for many years to come.
We are extremely proud that the majority of our staff members have grown up with us at one of our camps. In fact, many have graduated from our Machon (counselor-in-training) programs, and a selected group participate in year-round staff leadership training. Crane Lake Camp and Eisner Camp provide a well-supervised and structured environment for a child to learn, play and grow. Campers form a well-sustained sense of Jewish Identity and self through our innovative programming.
Judaism truly comes alive at camp! We provide a unique opportunity to live Judaism seven days a week and twenty-four hours a day. All of camp's activities help campers strengthen their sense of Jewish identity and their self-esteem.
Our Judaic programming is cutting edge. All programming is activity-oriented and takes place in the wonderful outdoors. Through our programming, community, and the relationships campers forge, Judaism is brought to life.
I look forward to the opportunity to serve you and your family. I sincerely hope that your child will become a part of our camp family.
B'Shalom,
Louis Bordman
