CRANE LAKE CAMP
EISNER CAMP
Overall Program

A traditional-style camp program for campers entering the 3rd – 10th grades, which is based on rotations of cabin groups and activities within units (grade groups). Our sport-intensive program provides campers with new skill instruction and the opportunity to compete. Activities unique to Crane Lake include: waterskiing, windsurfing and inter/intra-camp sport competitions.

A campus style program for campers entering 2nd – 10th grades, where the rotations are by unit (grade groups) and based on individual choice. Our recreational programming enables campers to choose from a variety of art and athletic chugim (electives). Activities unique to Eisner include: radio, videography, photography/dark room, climbing wall and high ropes.

Waterfront/Pools
•  Large lake and swimming pool
•  Lakefront activities: waterskiing, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, paddle boating, kayaking, surf biking, wakeboarding and row boating
•  Red Cross supervised swim instruction
•  Multiple lakefront periods (4-5) per week based on swim level
•  General program
•  Two large swimming pools and lake
•  Lakefront chugim (electives): canoeing, paddle boating, kayaking, surf biking and row boating

Adventure/Nature Program
•  Focus on building self-esteem, strengthening team skills and group dynamics
•  Animal program: puppies, farm animals and small reptiles
•  Adventure activities: low ropes course, zip line and some high rope elements
•  K'far Teva Program: overnight camping and nature skills

•  General arts program
•  Camp crafts include: ceramics, Judaic arts, candle making, tie-dying, beading and stained glass
•  One all camp, full-scale drama production per session
•  Multiple art periods (2-3) per week
•  Opportunity to chose art as an elective
•  All-encompassing arts program

•  Additional chugim (electives) include: darkroom photography, videography, radio and songleading

Judaic Program
•  Jewish education in an informal environment
•  Faculty consists of our Northeastern regional congregational rabbis, cantors and educators
•  Camper created and led services
•  Song sessions, Israeli dance and Shabbat celebrations
•  Limud - activity oriented Judaic programming (one daily period)
