2007 SUMMER
VISITATION POLICY
Eisner and Crane Lake
Camps provide closed campuses to ensure the health, safety
and emotional well-being of its campers and staff.
After much discussion by our directors and Camp Commission,
it was decided that it is in the best interest of all of our
campers that a new policy be put in place this summer
concerning parents visiting camp. It was decided that
PARENTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND SHABBAT SERVICES OR
UNIT PLAYS WHILE THEIR CHILD IS IN CAMP.
While we would like to welcome all for Shabbat, the need to
ensure the emotional well-being, health and safety of our
campers must take precedence. Family and friends of current
campers may not come on to campgrounds at any time,
other than Opening/Closing Days or 8-week camper Visiting
Day.
-
A limited
number of staff alumni and staff parents will be allowed
to join the camp each week in celebrating Shabbat for
services, dinner and Israeli dancing. These spots need
to be reserved in advance (and approved by the
director), and space will be limited. Please call our
camp office for space.
-
We offer a
variety of Alumni events throughout the year and
summer. Information can be found on our website at
www.eisneralumni.org.

For a
scheduled tour of our camp, please call our camp office
at 413-528-1652
Thank you for ensuring
the safety, security and sanctity of this holy community.
L’Shalom,
Lisa Messinger, Camp Commission Chair
